Lanvin for H&M - Fall Winter 2010/2011 - Fashion Vedio

After the great sucess of H&M's crossover projects with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Commes des Garcons and Sonia Rykiel, a new collaboration project - Lanvin for H&M will be launched in 20th November, in selected stores. The creative director Alber Elbaz and designer Lucas Ossendrijver merge traditions with modern elements, apply the look of Lanvin to bring glamour to H&M. The fine tailoring and elegant silhouette of the designs will definitely push H&M to a higher level.  

Fashion model Natasha Poly was filmed in the fashion vedio, and bring out the message "I love Lanvin". 
The vedio presents the ideas of everone can wear Lanvin, with no restrictions in ages or sizes.

I love Lavin! I love H&M! See you on November 20th!

Paper @ Langham Place

When having a walk in Langham Place, I saw this store with nice visual merchandising. T-shirt is the main product sold in the store. Most of them have artistic design. I love the decoration in the store, especially the arrangement of those light bulbs. It is simple but it is also stylish. Moreover, the light bulbs can also lights up the store and the products.

Mustang Jeans promotion in creation of Denim wear

Have you ever been to the shop of Mustang located at the Silvercord Mall? There is recently a Jeans creation competition held by the shop which works from selected students from Hong Kong Design Institute are shown in front of the shop area.



12 short listed candidates were chosen to exhibit their creation by using 2 pair of Mustang jeans. Customers and visitors are asked to help the shop to choose the best 3 creations out of the shortlisted works.

 


The final winner will be announced at the silvercord store with special guests MC Jin and Hotcha. The special event certainly will promote this denim brand into a next level.

REDValentino Pop-up Store at Harbour City






REDValentino is now hosting a Pop-up Store again at Atrium II, Gateway Arcade, Harbour City. The pop-up store will be held from November 4th to10th, 2010, opening from 10:00a.m. to 9:00p.m.

Similar to the previous Times Square pop-up store, it placed the white mannequins on the rotating podiums to demonstrate the collection. All the furniture and upholstery in the store are white and vintage, bringing a dream-like atmosphere to its customers.

Let's take a walk in this fantastic REDValentino world, experiencing a life in a new fairytale!

Monki arrived HK!!



So surprise that Monki is finally opened in HK in Sept!!! The store is really convenience and eye-catching ! It locates in Langham Place Mong Kok where is next to H&M. It is the brand’s first Asia store.I like monki so much not only because of the monki style but also the affordable price!~ Actually, Monki is is sweden fashion brand and a concept from H&M.The Monki label is clothing made for girls wanting to express who they are through what they wear at a super price.

I appreciate their brand story: "Once upon a time, an unexpected chemical reaction in an old weavery released a batch of plump black Monkis into the sky. Soaring high from the still-smouldering chimney, the tiny creatures floated into the illusory universe known as the Monki World." Wow~~It is really cute!~

Lovely window dressing in I.T Festival Walk Store




One day i took a walk in the festival walk, i was attracted by a lovely window display, i didn't know what animals the props imitate, This image came out really nice..:) it 's cute , soft and peace, like travelling on the cloud. I guess it was presenting the new winter collection of I.T.

The whole scenery is pure. The colours set the mood ,only keeping colours simple in white and little black and made by cotton or wool material ,they can make the windows look bigger . It features some trendy mannequins that seems to be embraced by the white cartoon. On the other way, you can also image the manniquins were having a spa .

 "Window dressing" means something done to make a better impression, and sometimes implies propaganda or promotional strategy. I think it is a successful promotional window display at least they can catch my attention,haha:)

red valentino pop store



Red Valentino open its pop store in Time Square. Nice clothes and nice visual merchandising! But i think the most special thing is that when you look at the store from upper level of the shopping mall, you can see the store is decorated as a gift box~It makes me feel that the product can be a nice gift for you friends and family inn coming festival. The whole decoration in the store is lovely sweet, i am sure that it can attract many young ladies attentions!

Times Square - Happy Halloween/Night Shopping

Halloween is coming! I am sure that you can see lots of events and decorations celbrating the festival in different shopping malls. This year, i found some interesting thing in Times Square:

 

From today to 31st of october, if you spend $300 or above at any shops in Times Square or Food Forum, you can get two chances to win fasbulous prizes including retro Tin Roborts, cash coupons, 10hours free parking through the claw vending machine.

A new brand is born--df Drex Fable



Today 's new discovery--a new fahsion boutique has been opened in Causewaybay Windsor House. After the reopening of Windsor house, Drex Fable becomes a new face of the boutique. Actually, Drex fable is not a new fashion brand , they are a local fashion brand that selling original design. They established since 2000 and became famous in the recent years.



I like the style of Df , they developed the concept of "simple and comfortable" mixed with the natural element.




















The window display is simple but it has clearly introduced their brand concept and style image. It is a really good promotional tool.

Drex Fable have totally 7 branches in HongKong,  and the flagship store is in Slivercord  in Tsim Sha Tsui.

"Think Chic" Paper Exhibition

Have you ever walk from the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station to Tsim Sha Tsui East station?
When you pass through the long path using the escalator, will you look around?
It is surprise that I can see art works during the way I go to school or back to home. Nowadays, you don't need to go to particular museum to see any artworks!

"Think Chic" Paper Exhibition which is organized by K11 shopping mall provide chance to everyone to experience a art journey in the mtr station. The young artist, Ms Doris Wong, creates a clutch bag model by using Rives new texture papers. 16 local artists creates their own pattern design for the clutch bag.

4X3.1 - A Lane Crawford &3.1 Phillip Lim Collaboration

IFC Lane Crawford is now showing a unique multi-media project which is collaborate with New York designer, Phillip Lim. In the project, four artist: Victoria Tang (Hong Kong), Rain Li (Beijing), Elle Muliarchyk (New York) and Yi Zhou (Paris) are invited to take short films for the project. Each film present how the four artist think about their cities through a woman who is wearing outfit of 3.1 Phillip Lim.





In the store, there are introductions of the four artists also Phillip Lim. Also, the short films and some behind the sence photo are shown. The custom that are wore by the woman in the film also display in the area.

The exhibition is just located near the escalator, therefore, it is highly visible to every customers. Moreover, there is a official website which the films are uploaded.

There are a lot of fashion designer collaborate with artist in the past, this time, Lane Crawford and Phillip Lim promote their collection through a new media, film. Nowadays, sharing original created videos are popular on the web, espacialy among younsters. This collaboration catches the young consumers' preference.
